Low Fat Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Dip
Healthier chocolate chip peanut butter dip isn’t loaded with fat or excess calories, but it’s definitely loaded with flavor! This low fat dip makes the perfect afternoon snack or dessert. Dip in with graham crackers, fruit slices, or just eat it straight from a spoon! It’s one of my favorite low fat recipes and it’s a Weight’s Watcher’s friendly dip!

Last year, I celebrated with a big group of my blogging friends. I made delicious, bite sized chocolate peanut butter pretzel doughnuts.

My recipe for healthier chocolate chip peanut butter dip is the kind of snack that is so easy to put together, you can be enjoying it in less than 5 minutes. Oh, and it uses just 5 basic ingredients!
Peanut Butter Dip Recipe Variations
If you don’t want to make the low fat version, no worries! You can make it with full fat cream cheese and regular peanut butter, as long as you don’t mind the extra fat and calories.
Weight Watchers Freestyle Recipe:
To make this a Weight Watcher’s friendly dip recipe, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- fat free cream cheese
- powdered peanut butter (I use)
- mini chocolate chips – I used traditional Toll House mini chocolate chips, but if you can find sugar free mini chips, you can have 1/4 cup of this dip for less than 2 points!
Whichever way you decide to make it, this low fat peanut butter dip makes the perfect healthy afternoon snack or dessert.

Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons powdered peanut butter
- 2 Tablespoons water
- 8 ounces fat free cream cheese, softened
- 2 Tablespoons confectioner's sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Add powdered peanut butter and water to a small mixing bowl and use a spoon to stir until combined.
- Add cream cheese, confectioner's sugar, and vanilla extract and stir until well combined. (I used an electric hand mixer, but a large mixing spatula will also work).
- Stir in the chocolate chips and serve with graham crackers, cookies, sliced apples, celery, or eat it straight from a spoon!
Notes
If you're not concerned about keeping the fat and calories low, this recipe can be made with equal amounts of traditional, full fat cream cheese and regular peanut butter.
